Roadcrew, the legendary Ray Zell was the frontman for the aforementioned Marionette. 'The Marionettes' was a different, completely unrelated, band. Unfortunately Ray cut his musical 'career' short to concentrate on journalism. I remember him telling me that he initially wanted to be in a band because at gigs everyone would want to suck up to people in bands. Then he noticed that the people in the bands always used to suck up to music journalists!
I never agreed with his philosophy though, as I found that 95% of music journalists were total c@nts.

The (UK) Gunslingers released a 7" single Never A Dull Moment / Shake Some Action on their own Ego label. It's pretty impossible to get - at least for a price that doesn't make you sell your house for it. There's one copy there for those of you with too much extra dough [img]wink.gif[/img]

I seem to remember that Paul Hornby (Dogs D'Amour & Quireboys) and Steve James (Dogs again) were members at some point at least.

I have yet to copy to DVD. One of those chores I keep meaning to do.

What about the Dirty Strangers? Sleazegrinder mention them in the Last Of The Teenage Idols article in the same league that Kill City Dragons, Soho Roses,Quireboys and Wrahchild!!.Please let me know what king of band were they and if they did any recordings.

Blittz, could you tell me the B side of the Babysitters single "Everybody Loves You When You're Dead'.?.Also,that song is same version that the "Trash On Delivery" version?
The Dirty Strangers were another Stones/Faces-type band. Damn good barroom rock 'n' roll.
